Rover 6 Westham & Pevensey
On-Call Demand Responsive Service

This is NOT a hail and ride service, it must be booked in advance.
The Rover 6 roams about to collect passengers in the local area.
It operates on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

The service will also pick up and set down passengers at all recognised bus stops in the fixed sections of the route. Fixed sections of the Tuesday route are from Pevensey Bay via Pevensey Bay Road, Langney Rise, Willingdon Drove, Kingfisher Drive, Langney Shopping Centre to Friday Street or Hide Hollow. In the opposite direction the route will be reversed.

Fixed sections of the Wednesday route are from: Pevensey Bay via Pevensey Bay Road, Langney Rise, Willingdon Drove, Kingfisher Drive, Langney Shopping Centre to Friday Street or Hide Hollow; and from Glynleigh, Hailsham Road, Ersham Road to South Road, Hailsham or from Rickney via Downash to Station Road, Hailsham. In the opposite direction the route will be reversed.

How to book this service

First look at the times of journeys to see if the Rover 6 is going at the time and in the direction you want to go.

Call 0845 606 6951 (local call rate) only between 0900-1230 and 1330-1630 on Monday to travel Tuesday, or on Tuesday to travel Wednesday. Call on Wednesday for cancellations only. There will be no reply at other times. Say:

Please be ready to travel and look out for the Rover, but stay inside until the bus comes.
